容疑者のＤＮＡ型をデーターベース化に、遺伝情報-究極の個人情報

警察庁は、裁判所の令状手続きを経て容疑者から採取した血液などを鑑定して得たＤＮＡ型情報について、９月１日からデータベースの運用を始めることを決めた。国家公安委員会は同日、データベース化の手続きや情報管理などを定めたＤＮＡ型記録取扱規則を制定した。

犯罪現場に残された毛髪や体液などの資料のＤＮＡ型情報はすでに昨年１２月から登録されており、容疑者の型情報と照合することで余罪解明などにつながりそうだ。

ＤＮＡは身体的特徴や病気などの高度な遺伝情報も含む『究極の個人情報」とされるが、規則では遺伝情報を含まない１１種類の型情報に限定して、データベース化の対象とする。

全国の警察本部が保管する容疑者採取の型情報は、６月末現在で約２１００人分。罪種別では強姦が約２９％と最多で、殺人の約１３％、窃盗の約１２％、強盗の約１１％、強制わいせつの約８％など。
