被害額５億４２５０万円と確定、史上最悪・栃木の警備会社強奪事件
栃木県南河内町の警備運送会社で昨年１０月、多額の現金が奪われた事件で、約５億２４００万円とされていた被害金額は約５億４２５０万円に上り、国内の現金強奪事件では過去最高だったことが２４日、分かった。
警察庁によると、これまでの最高額は１９９４年、神戸市の旧福徳銀行神戸支店前で奪われた５億４１００万円。
事件は昨年１０月１７日午後６時２０分ごろ、複数の男が警備事業本部の事務室に侵入、従業員２人の手足を粘着テープで縛り、栃木県内のスーパーなどから預かった売上金が入った手提げバッグ二十数個を金庫室から奪って逃げた。事件は未解決だ。
警察の調べでは、被害額は約５億２４００万円だったが、会社が預かった額を調べ直しし、２０００万円近く多いことがわかったという。
